2nd Annual Fraud and Scam Awareness Seminar for Seniors: It's a Jungle out There

Wabash Valley Home Care and Wabash Senior Citizen Center have gathered together a variety of businesses, churches, and individuals to offer a free all day educational seminar to address the issue of seniors being targeted by frauds and scams. No pre-registration. Registration will take place at 8 to 9 a.m. Shuttles will be available to transport individuals from their cars to the building. Seminar for seniors, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; vendors, 3 to 4 p.m. Upon arrival, seniors will sign in on the travel roster and then be issued complimentary survival gear. Light breakfast served while registration is completed. Followed by a walking safari with the opportunity to spot wildlife and learn ways to protect themselves from the predatory hunters. Ceremonial proclamation at 9 a.m. There will be time scheduled in the morning, at lunch, and in the afternoon for seniors to meet the various ranger guides (Vendors) and missionaries (Benefactors). Complimentary Jungle Lunch will be available. Additional refreshments available. Over 100 vendors will meet with the seniors to share information about their services and provide a door prize.
