CHAMPAIGN — Sisters with Attitude will present "Relay for Life Dances with the Stars" at 6 p.m. April 6 at Hawthorn Suites, 101 Trade Center Drive.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Relay For Life of Champaign County and The American Cancer Society.
MATTOON — Urbana artist Deborah Fell will lead a workshop on business for artists from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 23 at the Mattoon Area Family YMCA, 221 N. 16th St. The cost is $50 and will include lunch.
Shanna Brus of rural Homer never forgot her first love. When she chanced to find him again eight years after parting company with Squirt, she knew they would never part ways again. And she took him home with her.
Squirt is the pony Brus received from her parents on her fourth birthday. That was Valentine's Day 1984. Squirt was then twice her age at 8 years old.
CHAMPAIGN — Joe McNamara has bought controlling interest in the Boltini martini and tapas bar in downtown Champaign.
McNamara said the bar's concept won't change, but he is introducing Sunday hours.
URBANA — The masters of fine arts candidates in dance at the University of Illinois will present on Thursday, Friday and Saturday Studiodance One, an experimental 60-minute concert that will feature live music and video.

CHAMPAIGN — The Champaign-Urbana Folk & Roots Festival will present a live music and comedy show at 7 p.m. Saturday at Techline Studio, 307 S. Locust St.
The performers will be humorists Lou and Peter Berryman and local singer-songwriter Margaret O'Brien. The suggested donation at the door is $10-$15.
URBANA — Walter Alspaugh of Urbana has never entered the Champaign County Camera Club's Best in Show Photographic Print Competition. But every year he makes sure to visit Lincoln Square Village to see all the entries — 520 this year.
SAVOY — A craft beer nanobrewery that has been in the works for three years is welcoming the public to take a look on Friday and Saturday.
The grand opening for Triptych Brewing will include tours of the facility, samples of the craft beers and raffles.
