It's Your Business: Sports bar/ restaurant now open in Tolono
Fans of Brian Cardinal and other sports greats can find their images on the walls of a new restaurant in Tolono.
Traxside Pub and Sports Lounge opened Feb. 1 in the old Radmaker's Billiards and Sports Bar at 4 E. Holden St.
It's owned by Jignesh and Nita Panchal, who operate the adjacent Hometown Pantry, and by Jeff Lancaster, who was long involved in Radmaker's.

Business roundup: Food co-op continues grand opening week
URBANA — Common Ground Food Co-Op will continue the weeklong grand opening of its expanded store, with daily tours at 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Sunday.
The food cooperative, on the southeast side of Lincoln Square Village in Urbana, has tripled in size as a result of the expansion.
Rally part of union push in five states
URBANA — About 50 people turned out for a rally near Flex-N-Gate's Guardian West plant in Urbana on Wednesday, calling for the company to pay better wages.
The rally was one of seven simultaneous gatherings the United Auto Workers held at Flex-N-Gate plants in five states.
January is 12th straight month of rising home sales
CHAMPAIGN — Home sales in the Champaign County area were up in January for the 12th straight month, according to figures from the Champaign County Association of Realtors.
The association's Multiple Listing Service said 123 home sales were completed in January, up from 91 in January 2012.
Monticello-based bank firm a rarity: owned by employees
MONTICELLO — First State Bancorp of Monticello is now entirely owned by its employees.
The bank's employee stock ownership plan bought all remaining outstanding shares of the company's common stock on Dec. 24.
OfficeMax gets $129 million in proceeds from investment
NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) — Office products supplier OfficeMax said Tuesday that it will receive about $129 million in cash proceeds from its investment in Boise Cascade Holdings LLC.
Kraft mulls expanding Granite City plant
GRANITE CITY, Ill. (AP) — Kraft Foods is weighing whether to spend $40 million to expand a southwestern Illinois plant if the city and state provide about $400,000 to widen a road in front of the site.
