DANVILLE — The city also wants input from residents on a smaller streets project, whether to put a stop sign at the intersection of Denvale Drive and Country Club Drive.

Extradition hearing this week for Bernard Ramos

An extradition hearing is scheduled this week for one of the two local landlords who have managed the Cherry Orchard Village housing complex located between Rantoul and Thomasboro.

Bernard Ramos was arrested by District of Columbia police April 10 on two civil contempt warrants issued by Champaign County last year.


Shows on safe, affordable housing air today on WILL

URBANA — Programs airing today (Tuesday, March 27) on WILL-TV and WILL-AM will focus on safe, affordable housing in the area.

According to Illinois Public Media spokeswoman Mary Barrineau, the nation's economic decline has led to many changes in housing stock and neighborhoods in Champaign and Vermilion counties.
