CHAMPAIGN — Two men arrested after a stolen car crashed into a Champaign home over the weekend are scheduled to make their next court appearances May 14.
Demetrius Winfrey, 26, who listed an address in the 400 block of North State Street, Champaign, pleaded innocent Monday to one count of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle and one count of aggravated driving under the influence.
URBANA — Federal authorities charged an Urbana man Monday in connection with several bank robberies in the Midwest.
Willie B. Franklin, 37, pleaded innocent Monday to four counts of bank robbery.
U.S. Magistrate Judge David G. Bernthal set Franklin's next court appearance for May 18.

RANTOUL - Four people injured when a charter bus driver fell asleep and drove the bus into a median near Rantoul have been treated and released from local hospitals. A fifth was treated at the scene.
