Leonard, a 7-foot-1 center, will announce his intentions to enter and stay in the NBA draft, according to multiple sources close to the situation.

CHAMPAIGN - John Groce is starting to piece together his new staff at Illinois.
The first addition will be assistant coach Jamall Walker, a highly regarded recruiter that was on Groce's staff at Ohio University.

PEORIA — It's fast approaching midnight.
AUGUSTA, Ga. — Illinois fired a 6-under 282, the second-best round of the season, to cap a third-place finish at the Augusta State Invitational on Sunday.
The Illini were 8 shots behind No. 1 Texas and host Augusta State.
Illinois' Thomas Pieters (9 under) tied for sixth and Mason Jacobs (7 under) tied for ninth.

CHAMPAIGN — Illinois scored 10 runs in the first three innings and stayed in command thereafter to defeat Mississippi Valley State 12-4 on Saturday in a nonconference baseball game at Illinois Field. The top of the batting order did most of the damage for the Illini, with the first five hitters combining to go 11 for 20 with nine RBI and eight runs.
