5 O'Clock Shadow: J Leman released

News you can't leave work without: Former Illini great J Leman has been released by the Oakland Raiders.

Leman, who had been on the team's practice squad, was let go along with tight end Kevin Brock. The 26-year-old Champaign Central grad joined the Raiders in August after spending time with several  NFL teams.

Nebraska's Lauren Cook will return to the No. 2-ranked Cornhuskers after reaching an agreement with prosecutors Tuesday that could wipe a felony traffic charge from her record.
