Arthur-Lovington 2, Chrisman 0. KARLY GOODMAN had 12 kills and SHERELLE COLLER had 18 assists for the host Lancers in a 25-12, 26-24 win. BRETT BISHOP had eight kills and five blocks for the Cardinals.
CHAMPAIGN — Thanks to a second-place finish from Christian Khachaturian, who fired a 6-over-par 77, and a fourth-place showing from Grey Schultz (79), Centennial ran away with the Champaign County boys' golf championship Tuesday at Champaign Country Club.
In boys' soccer
Champaign Central 3, Hoopeston Area 0. Tim Hamm, Juan Garcia and Emanual Komba scored for the Maroons in a home win. Garcia, a freshman, was making his varsity debut.
St. Thomas More 2, Urbana 0. The Sabers outbattled visiting Urbana 25-18, 25-20 behind Lexi Wallen's nine kills and Katie Kulas' five service aces and five kills. Alayana Jackson had five kills and three blocks for the Tigers, who received seven kills from Kelsea Bishop.
At Paxton. Paxton-Buckley-Loda won the boys' and girls' team titles at its own invitational. AUDREY BLOOMQUIST was fourth to lead the Panthers in the girls' race. Schlarman's JESSE HAHNE won the boys' race. PBL's HAYDEN YOUNG, NICK PORTER and GRANT IVERSON finished second through fourth, respectively, in the boys' race.
Bloomington 2, STM 1. Lexi Wallen had 18 kills and 14 digs for visiting St. Thomas More in a 23-25, 25-18, 25-11 loss. Hannah Murray contributed 20 assists and 12 digs for the Sabers.
In girls' golf
At Bloomington. Brooklyn Hildreth and Emily Trolia totaled 83, leading Mahomet-Seymour to a fifth-place tie in the team standings at the Bloomington High School Lady Raider Best Ball Invitational at Highland Park Golf Course. Highland Park finished first.

At Bloomington. Trey Davis carded an 80 to tie for 32nd and lead Danville to 21st place at the Raider Classic at the Den.
Champaign Central, which was paced by Riley Thompson's 81, finished 22nd.
The best and brightest among area preps on Tuesday night:
— At Decatur. Senior TYLER TAYLOR shot a 40 for medalist honors as Monticello finished second at a triangular at Hickory Point.
— At Normal. DREW COYNE's 80 led 20th-place Mahomet-Seymour at the Raider Classic. St. Thomas More was 22nd behind CHRIS TATE's 84.
At Mahomet. Judah Christian's NICK BERGER shot 71 to win medalist honors at the Tiger Kick-Off Classic at Lake of the Woods. Centennial's GREY SCHULTZ was fourth at 78.
Bradley-Bourbonnais won the team title. Bismarck-Henning, led by ANDY BOTT's 79, was the top area finisher (fourth).
