CENTENNIAL BOYS’ TRACK AND FIELD
The Chargers had stellar performances from two athletes. In his indoor opener, Luke Vaughn broke the school record in the shot put (57-111/4), placing him among the top 15 all-time in the area. Teammate Jonah Peoples was the 60-meter hurdles winner at the UI Armory.

URBANA – The names are ones of multi-sport Urbana High athletes from nearly a quarter of a century ago: Kirk Mammen, Mark Mammen and Dave Williams.
The individuals are ones, however, who are still prominent in the sporting community.
They might be more recognizable by their stage names as SuperDome, Tanglefoot Jones and Six-burgh.

The Knights (17-5) extended their winning streak to 12 games, capturing six last week. Jordan Wheeler pitched a no-hitter and a two-hitter. Marcie Crawford threw a no-hitter and Staci Gardner fired a two-hitter.

The Tribe (18-5) broke their school record for wins in a season. Uzuri Williams had a double-double in the record-breaking triumph over Normal Calvary.
