In the year coach Rob Ledin won his 100th career match at M-S and the school competed in its 1,000th dual meet in history, the Bulldogs (21-8) returned to the 20-win mark for the first time in 11 years and concluded a 6-0 run past Corn Belt Conference teams to win the undisputed league championship.

Recently: Led Shiloh in scoring in all three games of the Little Okaw Valley Conference Tournament, leading the Raiders to a second consecutive title. The title-game win was against an opponent (Tri-County) Shiloh had previously lost to by 17 points.
CHAMPAIGN — Former Centennial girls’ basketball coach TIM FAIRCHILD is organizing a reunion Saturday at the state-ranked Chargers’ home game against Urbana. Former players, their parents, coaches and others who followed the team during Fairchild’s 29-year tenure are invited back to watch the game and socialize afterward.

Arcola 54, Atwood-Hammond 41. Nick Hudson scored half of his 20 points in the first quarter to propel the Purple Riders to a win. Andy Webb and Jordan Feagin each scored 10 points for the Rajahs.
DANVILLE — They didn’t score the first points and they didn’t score the last points, but Armstrong-Potomac scored the most points in between the start and the finish.
URBANA — Good things come in twos for Emma Hoyer. The Urbana University High senior is one of eight area athletes averaging a double-double in girls’ basketball.
“That’s been my trademark,” said Hoyer, who secured her 18th double-double in 21 games Thursday as the Illineks upended Judah Christian 42-28 in an East Central Illinois Conference game at Kenney Gym.

■ A-L/A-H 46, Okaw Valley 30. Ashley Tabb poured in a game-high 21 points for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, which led 22-15 at halftime.
In wrestling
■ At Urbana. Urbana seniors Sam Walson (126 pounds) and Cameron Mammen (170) won by pinfall against Normal West opponents in their final home matches.
Walson finished his match in four minutes, and Mammen pinned his opponent in 1:23. The Wildcats won the dual match 54-20.
