Three former Rantoul High School athletes will be enshrined in the school's Hall of Fame during Friday's home football game against Olympia. The inductees are Sean Bubin, Ali Franzen Vander Tuuk and Gary Buhr.
At Monticello. ERIC PONDER, JOHN EVANS and CHAS CAMPBELL finished 1-2-3 as Tuscola won the boys' meet against Monticello. Tuscola's SUE PONDER won the girls' race, but the Sages, led by freshmen KATIE DOUGLAS (second place) and KATHLEEN TRACY (third), took the team title.

At Atlanta. Brooklyn Hildreth claimed medalist honors with a 41 to lead Mahomet-Seymour to victory in a three-team meet that included Olympia and Pontiac at North Greens Golf Course.
The Bulldogs' Emily Trolia was runner-up with a 45, and teammate Amber Tabaka was another stroke back.
In girls' cross-country
At Urbana. Champaign Central won its first Twin City meet since 2003, thanks in large part to a first-place effort from HANNAH WRIGHT, who outlasted runner-up THERESA WELLE of St. Thomas More.
"Hannah's been working a long time for this," Central coach CHRISTOPHER SCHULTZ said. "This is the culmination of a lot of work."
CPCI 2, Bishop McNamara 0. HILLARY HINES had seven kills and four blocks in leading the host Timberwolves to a 25-20, 28-26 victory. MARIA WILKENING added 18 assists and two aces.
In girls' tennis
At Champaign. Emily Lydic won her singles and doubles matches, leading Centennial to a 9-0 victory against Decatur Eisenhower. Lydic claimed her No. 1 singles match 6-1, 6-0 and teamed with Sophie Kim to win their No. 2 doubles match 8-0. Allison Hansen and Lauren Neitzel won their No. 1 doubles match 8-0.
Arthur-Lovington 2, Chrisman 0. KARLY GOODMAN had 12 kills and SHERELLE COLLER had 18 assists for the host Lancers in a 25-12, 26-24 win. BRETT BISHOP had eight kills and five blocks for the Cardinals.
In boys' soccer
Champaign Central 3, Hoopeston Area 0. Tim Hamm, Juan Garcia and Emanual Komba scored for the Maroons in a home win. Garcia, a freshman, was making his varsity debut.
St. Thomas More 2, Urbana 0. The Sabers outbattled visiting Urbana 25-18, 25-20 behind Lexi Wallen's nine kills and Katie Kulas' five service aces and five kills. Alayana Jackson had five kills and three blocks for the Tigers, who received seven kills from Kelsea Bishop.
