Changes in cards for Okaw Valley

The bubble is bursting. Again.

A major shakeup is in the works in the Okaw Valley Conference. League president Sean German, from Argenta-Oreana, confirmed Tuesday that nine schools plan to leave as soon as conference bylaws will permit, the end of the 2013-14 school year.

Bulletin board: Urbana sets Hall picks

URBANA — Three athletes from the Class of 2005 headline the list of inductees to the Urbana Prep Hall of Fame. They will be recognized Friday at halftime of the Tigers' football game at McKinley Field against Centennial.

TOLONO — Her father was an Olympic champion and a man regarded as one of the premier athletes of the first half of the 20th century.

Her own passion was with Girl Scouts, where she hoped to make her life's work.
