CHAMPAIGN – Centennial diver Kegan Skelton and Champaign Central swimmer Sam Stewart will look to repeat as titlists Saturday in the Champaign Central Sectional meet at Unit 4 Pool at Centennial High School.

URBANA – Sam Stewart won the 100-yard butterfly to lead Champaign Central to a runner-up finish in the Big 12 Conference boys' swimming and diving meet Saturday.
Stewart posted a 51.84-second clocking in the fly. He also nabbed second in the 200 free in 1:50.35.
Historic tourney nears end
URBANA – Nearly three-quarters of a century of tradition will end next January when the Big 12 Conference holds its league wrestling tournament. The 73rd event will be the final one.

MONTICELLO BOYS' BASKETBALL
The Sages (11-9) extended their winning streak to five games, including a quarterfinal upset against a team it had lost to previously, top-seeded Meridian, 58-43, in the Okaw Valley Tournament.
Little Okaw Valley Tournament
Eighth-seeded Heritage's surprising run ended with a championship. KOBY BROWN scored 30 points as the Hawks beat Villa Grove 61-56 for their first LOVC tournament title since 1997.
