RANTOUL – Hanna Mennenga pitched a no-hitter to lead Rantoul past Urbana 4-3 Monday in prep softball.
MAHOMET – Hillary Veitch recorded her fourth shutout of the season and Kara Breedlove scored three goals to lift Mahomet-Seymour to an 8-0 Corn Belt Conference girls' soccer victory against Olympia on Thursday.

Champaign Central rolls to 5-0 girls' soccer victory behind Amanda Greco's four assists
URBANA – Delia Williams won the 200 and triple jump and McKenzie White won two hurdles races as Urbana edged St. Joseph-Ogden to win Saturday's Champaign County girls' track meet. Shelby Stevenson won the pole vault for the Tigers.
SJ-O got firsts from Lauren Cessna (800), Jolee Paden (1,600), Chelsea Blaase (3,200), Rachel Ballard (long jump) and Ashley Robertson (discus).
GILMAN – Joe Parkhill, Dane Krone and Mack Meyer each pounded out four hits for St. Thomas More in the Sabers' 23-3 baseball win against Iroquois West on Thursday. Parkhill's four-hit effort included a home run and Parker Stewart went 3 for 4 and stole two bases for the Sabers in the five-inning contest.
URBANA – Katarina Marjanovic has cried for competition. She's bled for it. She's pulled her hair in frustration for it. She's better because of it.
Marjanovic, the Urbana High School tennis standout, once outlasted everyone in a situps contest at a tennis camp run by tennis instructor Mark Voss, including a couple of young professionals.

PEORIA — Urbana’s Katarina Marjanovic won No. 1 singles at the Peoria Richwoods Invitational on Saturday.
Marjanovic did not lose a set and dropped two games in the tournament.
The Tigers placed seventh.
