Champaign Central rolls to 5-0 girls' soccer victory behind Amanda Greco's four assists
CATLIN – Some worn areas of the Catlin High School running track will receive spot repairs this spring, school officials said Thursday, but a full resurfacing of the track is still a few years away.
Catlin school board members voted Thursday to have S. Bollinger & Associates, LLC of Hillsboro, Mo., inspect and repair worn areas of the track for $2,000.

URBANA – Delia Williams won the 200 and triple jump and McKenzie White won two hurdles races as Urbana edged St. Joseph-Ogden to win Saturday's Champaign County girls' track meet. Shelby Stevenson won the pole vault for the Tigers.
SJ-O got firsts from Lauren Cessna (800), Jolee Paden (1,600), Chelsea Blaase (3,200), Rachel Ballard (long jump) and Ashley Robertson (discus).
WESTVILLE – Georgetown-Ridge Farm/Chrisman erupted for eight runs in the fifth inning to wipe out a 3-1 deficit en route to a 12-3 baseball victory against Westville on Friday. A.J. Pitmon went 2 for 3 and drove in four runs for the Buffaloes. Nathan Ross had two hits, two RBI and scored twice in the win. G-RF/Chrisman's 13-hit attack included two hits by Kody Kidwell and Travis Digby's homer.
GILMAN – Joe Parkhill, Dane Krone and Mack Meyer each pounded out four hits for St. Thomas More in the Sabers' 23-3 baseball win against Iroquois West on Thursday. Parkhill's four-hit effort included a home run and Parker Stewart went 3 for 4 and stole two bases for the Sabers in the five-inning contest.
PAXTON – Ally Edwards launched a solo home run in the bottom of the 10th inning, leading the Paxton- Buckley-Loda softball team to a 10-9 win against Ridgeview on Thursday.
DANVILLE – The public is invited to attend the third annual Reagan Williams Memorial track meet, hosted by the Danville High School boys' track team.
The event will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Danville High School Field House, 202 E. Fairchild St.
BLOOMINGTON – Eighteen area schools will have representatives in Friday's Class 1A or 2A boys' or girls' indoor state track and field meets, sponsored by the Illinois Prep Top Times.
