URBANA – Recent Siena College graduate Allie Lindemann has been hired as the Urbana Uni High girls' basketball head coach. Lindemann was a former All-Area Player of the Year standout at Champaign Central and also played for Kirkwood Community College's junior college national champions.

URBANA – Nick Hoffman of Urbana will continue his diving career at the University of Delaware after orally committing to the Blue Hens. The Tigers senior, who also considered offers from St. Bonaventure and Georgetown, plans to sign a national letter of intent sometime in May. He received a partial scholarship from Delaware.
