A-L 57, Tuscola 44. Curtis Plank scored 16 points to lead three Arthur-Lovington players in double figures. Andrew Maxwell had 15 points and Tyler Schuring 10 for the host Knights, who led 35-21 at intermission. The Warriors received 11 points from SharoM Shabrou and 10 from Eric Crist.

Thursday's prep highlights: Litchfield propels Maroons

Champaign Central 63, Decatur Eisenhower 33. Laura Litchfield scored 19 of her season-high 27 points in the first half, leading the Maroons to a home win. Meme Evans contributed 11 points and seven rebounds for Central.

ISIAH SMITH hit two late free throws to put the visiting Maroons ahead and they hung on for their first win of the season. CHRIS HUTCHINSON had 19 points and ALEC ALTMYER added nine for Central in the Big 12 game.

Centennial 88, Champaign Central 47. Chantal Meacham scored 15 points, all on three-pointers, to lead the visiting Chargers to a Big 12 victory against their city rivals. Five players scored in double figures for Centennial. Laura Litchfield paced the Maroons with 13 points.

St. Thomas More 55, Oakwood 17. Storm Joop scored 15 points to lead the Sabers to a home win. Kevin Carroll (11) and Mike Plecki (10) also scored in double figures for STM.

PBL 45, Clifton Central 35. Drew Schrodt’s 12 points led a balanced attack that carried host Paxton-Buckley-Loda.

Centennial 70, Normal Community 41. The Chargers racked up 12 three-pointers and built an 18-point first-quarter lead in rolling to a home victory against the defending Big 12 champs.

Jeffrey Lavin sank four treys en route to 12 points, while Michael Finke tossed in three three-pointers and scored a game-high 17 points.
