Hi Tom. The state final games were my downfall. I only picked three of the eight correctly. Congratulations on doing so well. I guess I should have listened to you! When i first saw that all-state team picked by EdgyTim I thought he'd included a lot of players, but as I examined it, the 33 players he has listed on offense cover classes 5A through 8A, so in fact that is a pretty exclusive list. For Cam Mammen to be listed as one of the top eight quiarterbacks among all the state's big schools is a tremendous feat and a reflection on his abilities. I won't be surprised to hear one of these days that he gets a scholarship offer from the Illini. I still think his best position will be in the secondary, but I could see him as a receiver, too. He had a tremendous year and it's nice to see that he's getting the recognition for it beyond this immediate area.
