Urbana School District #116, Urbana, Illinois 61801 (Owner) will receive sealed bids for two asbestos abatement projects:
LOCATIONS: Urbana High School 1002 South Race St. Urbana, IL 61801
Prairie Elementary School 2102 East Washington St., Urbana, IL 61802
Urbana High School
Remove asbestos-containing flooring and associated mastics from the service line, kitchen, kitchen storage area and kitchen manager’s office utilizing gross removal methods from Urbana High School.
Prairie Elementary School
Remove all asbestos-containing and non-asbestos containing thermal pipe system insulation, asbestos-containing tank covers, flue insulation, gaskets, and any asbestos-containing interior boiler material from the boiler room utilizing gross removal methods.
Date of Commencement: June 8, 2015
Date of Substantial Completion: June 19, 2015

There are two separate Project Manuals and two individual projects. Each project will be bid separately.
Call: 309/828-4259 by 3:30 p.m. on December 8, 2014 to reserve a Project Manual(s) and attendance at Prebid Meeting. Ask for Dawn M. Swearingen.
Obtain Project Manual(s) at the Prebid meeting for $75.00 per set, ($150.00 for both buildings), non-refundable cash or check, payable to Ideal Environmental Engineering, Inc., 2904 Tractor Lane, Bloomington, Illinois 61704-9163. Project Manuals requested after the above Prebid Meeting date will be available upon receipt of $75.00 per set and an additional $25.00 per set to cover handling costs. The Project Manual will also be available for review at the office of the Owner and the Engineer after the Prebid Meeting.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Joint Review Board of the City of Urbana Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts One, Two, Three and Four will conduct an annual meeting beginning at 2:30pm on Tuesday, December 9th, 2014 in the Urbana Council Chambers at Urbana City Hall, 400 S Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois, 61801. The purpose of this meeting is to review the financial activity within the TIF Districts during the fiscal year 2014 in accordance with the Tax Increment Allocation Redevelopment Act, 65 ILCS 5/11 et seq. This meeting is open to the public. Persons unable to attend the meeting and wishing to comment may send written comments to:
