Notice is given of the death of EDNA M. FOX. Letters of office were issued on August 21, 2014 to DIANE D. TIPPS, 1700 West William Street, Champaign, Illinois 61821, as Independent Executor whose attorney of record is Brooke Didier Starks, MEYER CAPEL, a Professional Corporation, 306 West Church, Champaign, Illinois 61820.
Claims against the estate may be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Probate Division, Champaign County Courthouse, 101 East Main Street, Urbana, Illinois, 61801, or with the representative, or both, within six months from the date of the first publication of this notice and any claim not filed within that period is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorney within ten (10) days after it has been filed.

PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 2nd day of September, 2014, the Commissioners of the abovesaid District and Sub-Districts, filed a Petition with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Champaign County, Illinois.
That in their Petition, the Commissioners a.) seek authority to establish and levy annual maintenance assessments against those lands within the Main District and the Sub-Districts, to provide funds for performance of recurring annual maintenance work on the drainage system and payment of annual administrative and overhead expenses; and, b) seek approval of the Current Financial Report which accompanies the Petition. No damages or compensation are proposed to be allowed.
Upon filing of the Petition, the same was presented to the Court, and by the Court set for hearing in Circuit Courtroom D, located at the Champaign County Courthouse, 101 E. Main St., Urbana, Illinois 61801, on the 30th day of September, 2014, a the hour of 9:00 a.m., at which time and place all interested persons may appear and be heard upon all questions arising thereunder if they see fit to do so.

Invitation for Bids
The Housing Authority of the City of Danville (DHA) will accept sealed bids for the construction of a security fence at the east property line of the Fair Oaks development. The fence will be installed for the purpose of enhancing security within the development by reducing access to the site.
Bid documents including instructions to bidders detailing the proposed work and associated requirements will be available at the DHA Central Office located at 1607 Clyman Lane in Danville, IL. After 9:00 a.m. local time on September 9, 2014. Documents may also be requested by contacting RW Kobel at (217)444-3111 or by e-mail at email@example.com. No partial; sets will be distributed. No deposit for documents will be required. Qualified resident owned and minority or women owned providers are encouraged to submit bids.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on September 23, 2014 to review documents, discuss the bidding process, and answer provider questions regarding specific requirements of the project. Minutes of the pre-bid meeting will be distributed to all plan holders by the DHA. Attendance by potential bidders is not required but is strongly recommended. Failure to attend will not absolve the provider of any responsibility for errors or omissions.
Sealed bids must be clearly marked as “Bid-DHA Fair Oaks Fence”. Bids will be due no later than October 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm local time. They will be opened at that time and read aloud publicly. Bids received after that date and time will be returned unopened to the bidder. The DHA reserves the right to reject or accept bids and award a contract based on the Procurement Policy of the DHA and the best interests of the Authority.
A bid security in the form of a bid bond for an amount equal to fifteen percent of the bid amount will be required. A Performance/Payment Bond for one hundred percent of the bid amount will be required. Bids will be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of sixty days after the bid opening.
This project will be federally funded and subject to all regulations as reflected in the procurement policy of the DHA including those related to wages, overtime payments, nondiscrimination/ equal opportunity rules, and “Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968”.
