Notice is given of the death of Cheryl E. Odle. Letters of office as independent representative were issued on September 18, 2017 to Roger Odle of Mahomet, Illinois, whose attorney is Thomas, Mamer & Haughey, LLP, 30 Main Street, P.O. Box 560, Champaign, Illinois, 61824-0560.

The estate will be administered without court supervi¬sion, unless under Section 28-4 of the Probate Act (755 ILCS 5/28-4) any interested person terminates independent administration at any time by mailing or delivering a petition to terminate to the Clerk.

Claims against the estate may be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Champaign County Courthouse, Urbana, Illinois, or with the independent representative, or both, on or before March 11th, 2018, or if mailing or delivery of notice from the representative is required by Section 18-3 of the Probate Act of 1975, the date stated in that notice. Any claim not filed by that period is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the independent representative and to the attorney within 10 days after it has been filed.

This project is generally described as follows:

Replacement of existing customer service counter for the City of Champaign Department of Planning and Development and minor alterations to the existing Department of Planning and Development conference room. The project elements include:

A new customer service counter with both standing and accessible height counters, and with a swinging panel to deter unwanted traffic past the counter; replacement and relocation of the conference room door; replacement and relocation of conference room casework; infill of unneeded door openings in conference room.

Each bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Guaranty in an amount equal to at least TEN PERCENT (10%) as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute the contract and all other Contract Documents and file acceptable contract bond and proof of insurance within fourteen (14) days after the award of the contract and prior to commencement of work.

The City of Champaign reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portions thereof and to waive any formality or technicality in any bids in the interest of the City. The criteria for selection of the lowest responsible bidder are set forth in Section 12.5-38 of the Champaign Municipal Code, 1985, as amended and the bid documents.

The contractor shall comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, the Veteran's Preference Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the City's Equal Opportunity in Purchasing Ordinance and the Illinois Human Rights Act.

If federal funds are used to finance this project, the contractor shall comply with the Davis-Bacon Act.

VILLAGE OF MAHOMET

2017 MUNICIPAL PARKING LOT AND ALLEY

RECONSTRUCTION

The Village of Mahomet is accepting sealed proposals to perform the 2017 Municipal Parking Lot and Alley Reconstruction Project. Sealed will be received at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 5, 2017, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronically mailed bids will not be accepted.

This project consists of the replacement of approximately 2,200 square feet of concrete in the north parking lot of the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office. This involves removal of the existing ADA ramp and changing the grade of the parking area and concrete at the building entrance to make it safer and more ADA accessible. The project includes an alternate bid for reconstruction of the west half of the alley just west of the Village Administrative Office. The alley reconstruction includes minor excavation, concrete curb, and aggregate to realign the alley. The alternate bid will be awarded at the discretion of the Village. Project Completion date is April 10, 2018.
