Bids are invited for Seal Coating and Crack Filling for the East and West Drives and Parking Lots A,E,F for the Danville Public Safety Building, 2 E. South St, Danville, IL.
A single lump bid will be required for the work for the project.

Sealed bids will be received until 2:00 o’clock PM on Wednesday, June 08, 2016 at the office of the Danville Public Building Commission, Public Safety Building, 2 E. South Street, Danville, IL. Bids offered after this time will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud and shall be open to public inspection in the office of the Danville Public Building Commission for a period of at least forty-eight (48) hours before an award of the contract is made.

Bid security will be required, submitted with the bid, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid in the form of a Bid Bond in the prescribed form executed by the bidder and with acceptable surety or sureties.
The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds.
Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin.
Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Danville Public Building Commission must be paid on this project.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to accept that proposal which the owner considers to be in its best interest.
The bid shall be withdrawn from a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner.

Notice is hereby given that Shannon Eastwood has filed with the Vermillion County Board of Zoning Appeals, a Petition for a Special Exception for a Kennel on the following real estate located in Highland Township, Vermillion County, Indiana, commonly known as 15167 N 200 E, Covington, IN 47932. Parcel Number 83-01-09-100-007.000-009 and further described as: A tract of land located in the Northeast Quarter of Section 9, in Township 19 North, Range 9 West and in the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, in Township 19 North, Range 9 West, being a part of a tract of land described in Deed Record 104, page 608 of the Deeds Records of Vermillion County, Indiana, and described as follows; Beginning at a point 1437.5 feet South of the Northeast corner of the Northeast Quarter of Section 9 and the Northwest corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10 in said Township and range aforesaid, running West a distance of 296.5 feet, thence South a distance of 384 feet, thence East a distance of 330 feet to the center line of Old State Highway No. 63, then in a Northwesterly direction along the center line of said highway to appoint 1437.5 south of the North line of said quarter sections, thence West to the palace of beginning, containing 2.80 acres more or less.

Interested parties may voice an opinion at the above meeting and/or file written comments beforehand in the Zoning Office, 2nd floor of the Courthouse, Newport, Indiana for consideration regarding the petition.
No person, firm, corporation, public employee or political body shall contact any member of the commission orally, or in writing, in advance of a public hearing on a case then pending for a decision by the commission. Furthermore, the members of the Area Plan Commission have unanimously adopted this policy of limited communication. Any person, firm, corporation, public employee or body politic may appear in person, by agent or by attorney at these public hearings and submit evidence or present testimony germane to the issue in controversy where the opposing party is permitted to present rebuttal evidence and testimony.
