Bid Opening will be on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. prevailing time at the Superintendent’s office in the North School (106 North Vine St., Royal, IL 61871) Bids will be publicly opened and read immediately after specified closing time.
The project consists of creating an addition of approximately 670 square feet to an existing building consisting of two offices, plus interconnecting corridor. Complete mechanical and electrical systems is included plus minor site work. Work also includes minor renovation to two existing interior spaces.
Alternate Bid work consists of removing and replacing aluminum storefront entry system.
Prevailing wages in accordance with Champaign County is required.
Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid. Bid security shall be made payable to Prairieview-Ogden Community Consolidated School District #197.
Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond or a Labor & Material Payment Bond is required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price.
Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the March 13, 2017 regular meeting of the Board of Education. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before August 8, 2017 with final completion on or before August 12, 2017.

CURBSIDE COLLECTION PROGRAM
The Village of Mahomet is accepting sealed proposals to perform the 2017-2018 Curbside Brush and Tree Limb Collection. This bid will be awarded for a period of two (2) years with the first collection beginning in June 2017 and the final collection being in April 2019. Sealed proposals for the curbside brush and tree limb collection described herein will be received at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, until 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 3, 2017, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronically mailed bids will not be accepted.
The Brush and Tree Limb Curbside Collection Program generally consists of brush and tree limb collection during the first full work week of the five designated program months from five established collection areas throughout the Village. A separate collection day of the week is designated for each collection area. The collection services are presently requested for the designated program months of June, August, October and December, 2017; April, June, August, October and December, 2018; and April, 2019, for a total of ten (10) collections.
