The successful bidder at the time of the contract will not be required to deposit a contract bond for the full amount of the award. When a contract bond is not required, the proposal guaranty check will be held in lieu thereof. Failure on the part of the contractor to deliver the material within the time specified or to do the work specified herein will be considered just cause to forfeit his surety as provided in Article 108.10 of the Standard Specifications.

NOTICE OF PREVAILING
in the matter of the
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on June 16, 2015, the EDGE-SCOTT FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT adopted a Prevailing Wage Resolution for 2015, according to the terms of "An act regulating wages of laborers, mechanics, and other workers employed in any public works by the state, county, city or any public body or any political subdivision or by anyone under contract for public works," approved June 26, 1941, as amended (820 ILCS 130/1 and following). The Board of Trustees of said District has determined said rates are the same as those determined by the Department of Labor for the State of Illinois effective June 1, 2015 for Champaign County, Illinois.
A copy of said resolution is available for inspection from the EDGE-SCOTT FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, 201 Smith Road, Urbana, Illinois.

NOTICE OF PREVAILING WAGE RATES
Notice is hereby given by the BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF COMMUNITY COLLEGE DISTRICT NO. 505 (PARKLAND COLLEGE) COUNTIES OF CHAMPAIGN, COLES, DEWITT, DOUGLAS, EDGAR, FORD, IROQUOIS, LIVINGSTON, MCLEAN, MOULTRIE, PIATT, VERMILION AND STATE OF ILLINOIS that said community college district has, by resolution passed on June 17, 2015, ascertained and determined the prevailing rates of wages for said district effective June 1, 2015, as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor for the counties in said community college district.
Notice is also given that said community college district has on file in its principal office, Assistant to the President/Board of Trustees, Room U336, Parkland College, 2400 West Bradley Avenue, Champaign, Illinois, and available for public inspection, the schedule of prevailing rates of wages as thus determined by the Illinois Department of Labor and said community college district.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Education of Prairieview-Ogden School District #197 will conduct a public hearing at 7:45 p.m. on July 13, 2015 in the Board room located at North Elementary which is located at 106 N. Vine St. in Royal, IL. The purpose of the hearing is to hear testimony from educators, parents, and students concerning the applications for waiver of Section 5/10-20.12a of the Illinois School Code. The waivers are for a period of five years beginning with the start of 2016-17 school year. A brief description of the waivers are: 1). A renewal waiver to allow the children of full-time employees who do not reside in the District to attend Prairieview-Ogden District #197 without the requirement to pay tuition; and 2). A waiver to allow the non-resident pupils to be charged 80% per capita tuition charge instead of 110% per capita tuition charge to attend Prairieview-Ogden School District #197.
The public is invited to participate with questions, concerns, and/or clarification requests at the Hearing or through written comments delivered via School Board Members.

Prequalification is required. The 2 low bidders must file within 24 hours after the letting an “Affidavit of Availability” (Form BC 57), in duplicate, showing all uncompleted contracts awarded to them and all low bids pending award for Federal, State, County, Municipal and private work. One original shall be filed with the Awarding Authority and one original with the IDOT District Office.

The quantities appearing in the bid schedule are approximate and are prepared for the comparison of bids. Payment to the Contractor will be made only for the actual quantities of work performed and accepted or materials furnished according to the contract. The scheduled quantities of work to be done and materials to be furnished may be increased, decreased or omitted as hereinafter provided.
Submission of a bid shall be conclusive assurance and warranty the bidder has examined the plans and understands all requirements for the performance of work. The bidder will be responsible for all errors in the proposal resulting from failure or neglect to conduct an in depth examination. The Awarding Authority will, in no case be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses or changes in anticipated profits resulting from such failure or neglect of the bidder.
The bidder shall take no advantage of any error or omission in the proposal and advertised contract.
If a special envelope is supplied by the Awarding Authority, each proposal should be submitted in that envelope furnished by the Awarding Agency and the blank spaces on the envelope shall be filled in correctly to clearly indicate its contents. When an envelope other than the special one furnished by the Awarding Authority is used, it shall be marked to clearly indicate its contents. When sent by mail, the sealed proposal shall be addressed to the Awarding Authority at the address and in care of the official in whose office the bids are to be received. All proposals shall be filed prior to the time and at the place specified in the Notice to Bidders. Proposals received after the time specified will be returned to the bidder unopened.
Permission will be given to a bidder to withdraw a proposal if the bidder makes the request in writing or in person before the time for opening proposals.
NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed proposals for the following improvements described below will be received at the office of the County Engineer, 2732 Batestown Road, Oakwood, IL. Proposals will be received until July 9, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Proposals will be opened and read publicly at that time. No proposals will be issued after 4:00 p.m. on July 8, 2015.
The proposed improvement of County Section 10-000176-00-BR is on Kelly Drive, Vermilion County, Municipality of Oakwood and consists of remove the existing structure and replace with a PPC deck beam bridge, railing, curb and gutter, bituminous approaches and related earthwork.
Plans and proposal forms will be available in the office of the County Engineer. All proposals must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee as specified in Check Sheet LRS6 in the “Supplemental Specifications and Recurring Special Provisions adopted January 1, 2015. The Village of Oakwood reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals. Prequalification of bidders is required. The Village in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that the contracts entered into pursuant to this advertisement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder without discrimination on the grounds of Race, Color or National Origin.

The Housing Authority of Champaign County (HACC) is inviting sealed Bid Proposals from interested and qualified parties for the Steer Place Boiler Replacement Project, generally including all labor, supervision, materials, supplies, transportation, equipment and services necessary and required as set forth in the Contract Documents.
Separate sealed BIDS will be received by the Housing Authority of Champaign County at the address listed above until 2:00 p.m. CST on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The Housing Authority of Champaign County intends to award one contract on the basis of lowest and most responsible base bid for all work to be performed. The successful bidder must be prepared to begin work immediately upon notification of award. The Housing Authority of Champaign County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding process.
All bidders must sign and submit all forms in Specification Section 008500 including the Section 3 Clause and Section 3 Assurances. Contractors awarded a contract must comply with HUD’s regulations in 24 CFR Part 135, which implements Section 3.
