BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Trustees of the Urbana & Champaign Sanitary District of Champaign County, Illinois:

SECTION 1. That this will be and the same is hereby termed the COMBINED ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE FOR THE URBANA & CHAMPAIGN SANITARY DISTRICT, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR MAY 1, 2016 TO APRIL 30, 2017.

5-Bedroom Wait List Opening

The Housing Authority of Champaign County (HACC) will be opening the Public Housing Wait List for persons needing five (5) bedroom housing. The wait list will be open from Sunday, May 1, 2016 to Tuesday, May 31, 2016. All applicants applying must meet the HACC’s criteria for eligibility for admission (eligibility information is on the application itself.)

Applications can be downloaded and printed from online at www.hacc.net or you may come in and fill out a paper copy here at 205 W. Park Street, Champaign, IL 61820.

HACC will use the lottery system for a selection method if more than 20 applications are received for the Public Housing waiting list. This will be done before anyone is placed on the waiting list. When these applicants from the lottery system are placed on the waiting list they will be placed on the list according to date and time of the lottery drawing. All other applicants will receive a letter and may reapply when the waiting list reopens.
