PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that pursuant to a Judgment of Foreclosure entered by the Court in the above-entitled cause the property hereinafter described or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to satisfy said judgment, will be sold to the highest bidder.

The terms of the sale are: public auction with open, verbal bids; the successful bidder must deposit 100% of bid by certified funds made payable to the Sheriff; Buyer shall pay the Judicial sale fee for Abandoned Residential Property Municipality Relief Fund, which is calculated on residential real estate at the rate of $1 for each $1,000 or fraction thereof of the amount paid by the purchaser not to exceed $300, in certified funds within five (5) business days. If the sale is set aside for any reason the Purchaser at the sale shall be entitled only to a return of the deposit paid. The purchaser shall have no further recourse against mortgagor, mortgagee or mortgagee’s attorney. NO REFUNDS.

G. Title will be conveyed subject to all general real estate taxes which are a lien upon the real estate, all general real estate taxes which have not yet become due and payable, and special assessments, if any, and easements and restrictions of records, or existing leases, if any, and applicable zoning laws; property is sold “As-is, where is, with no warranties”, and without any representation as to quality or quantity of title and without recourse to Plaintiff. The sale is further subject to confirmation by the Court.

H. Pursuant to Section 15-1507(c)(7) of the Illinois Code of Civil Procedure, no additional information shall be provided.

When a contract bond is not required, the proposal guaranty check will be held in lieu thereof. Failure on the part of the contractor to deliver the material within the time specified or to do the work specified herein will be considered just cause to forfeit his surety as provided in Article 108.10 of the Standard Specifications.

Annual Budget

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested citizens that the City of Champaign will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 17, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Champaign City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois, for the purpose of reviewing the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Annual Budget, including the budget for the proposed Capital Improvements Program.

The public is encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. During the Public Hearing all interested citizens will be given an opportunity to provide written and oral comments regarding the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2016/2017 Annual Budget. Senior citizens are invited and encouraged to attend and comment. The City of Champaign strives to ensure that its programs, services and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you are an individual with a disability and require assistance to observe or participate, please contact the City of Champaign Finance Department at 403-8940 (or TDD #403-8736), at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting date.
