NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING IN REGARD TO A PROPOSED MINOR VARIANCE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested persons that the Urbana Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 7:30 P.M. in the Urbana City Council Chambers, 400 South Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois, to consider the following application:

Case No. ZBA-2016-MIN-01: A request by Brendan Harley and Katherine Clancy to grant a Minor Variance to construct a garage extension that encroaches no more than one foot, three inches into the required five foot side yard at 1009 South Douglas Avenue in the R-2, Single Family Residential Zoning District.

Pursuant to the Urbana Zoning Ordinance, Table VI-3, the minimum required side yard within the R-2, Single Family Residential Zoning District is five feet. The applicant proposes to extend their existing garage by two feet to the east. The garage already encroaches one foot, three inches into the southern side yard. The extension of the garage would extend the existing one foot, three inch side yard encroachment to the east by two feet.

NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING IN REGARD TO VARIANCES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE CHAMPAIGN COUNTY ZONING ORDINANCE

CASE: 832-V-16

Christopher Schultz, 707 East Olympian Road, Urbana, has filed a petition for a Variance under the provisions of the Champaign County Zoning Ordinance on property in unincorporated Champaign County. The petition is on file in the office of the Champaign County Department of Planning and Zoning, 1776 East Washington Street, Urbana, IL.

A public hearing will be held Thursday, June 16, 2016, at 7:00 p.m. prevailing time in the John Dimit Conference Room, Brookens Administrative Center, 1776 East Washington Street, Urbana, IL, at which time and place the Champaign County Zoning Board of Appeals will consider a petition for the following:

Authorize the following Variance on a lot in the AG-2 Agriculture Zoning District:
