NOW THEREFORE, unless you file your response to the Petition or otherwise file your appearance in this proceeding in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Champaign County Courthouse, 101 E. CLAIM NOTICE AND NOTICE TO HEIRS
Notice is given of the death of RON D. RAY, of St. Joseph, Illinois. Letters of Office were issued on May 22, 2015, to Troy Ray, as Executor, whose attorney is JAMES D. STOUT of Law Offices of James D. Stout, P.O. Box 8, Bridgeport, IL 62417.
Notice is given to Travis Ray and Timothy Ray who are heirs in the above proceeding to Probate a Will whose last addresses or whereabouts are unknown and not stated in the Petition to Admit the Will to Probate.
An Order was entered by the Court on May 22, 2015, admitting the Will to Probate. Within 42 days of the effective date of the original Order Admitting the Will to Probate, you may file a Petition with the Court to require proof of the Will by the witnesses to the Will in open Court, or other evidence as provided in Section 5/6-21 of the Probate Act 755ILCS5/8-1.
You also have the right under Section 5/8-1 to contest the validity of the Will with the Court within 6 months after admission of the Will to Probate.
Claims against the estate may be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Court at the Vermillion County Courthouse, Danville, Illinois, or with representative's attorney, or both, within 6 months from the date of issuance of letters and any claim not filed within that period is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the representative and to the attorney within 10 days after it has been filed.
