Wait List Opening

The Housing Authority of Champaign County (HACC) will be opening the one (1) bedroom elderly Project Based Voucher wait list for the following properties:

  • Steer Place 1202 E. Harding, Urbana, IL

  • Washington Square 108 W. Washington St., Champaign, IL

  • Columbia Place 503 E. Columbia, Champaign, IL

  • Hayes Homes 401 E. High St., Urbana, IL

  • Youman Place 308 N. Maplewood, Rantoul, IL

All persons on the application must be age 55 or older. The wait list will be open from Thursday, July 6, 2017 to Friday, September 29 2017. All applicants applying must meet the HACC’s criteria for eligibility for admission (eligibility information is on the application itself).

HACC will be accepting online applications only. No paper applications will be available or accepted. The application form is available at www.hacc.net.

HACC may utilize a lottery to select applicants if total applications received exceed 200 for Steer Place and Washington Square and 50 for the remaining properties.
