RATE DETERMINATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN by the Board of Trustees of the Ivesdale Fire Protection District, pursuant to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS, 130/1, et seq., that the Board has determined the general prevailing rate of wages in this locality for laborers, mechanics, and other workers engaged in the construction of public works coming under the jurisdiction of the Board of Trustees is hereby ascertained to be the same as the prevailing rate of wages in the Champaign County area as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor as of June 1, 2017. Said determination was made by the Board of Trustees by adoption of Ordinance No. 17-6-1, “An Ordinance Establishing Prevailing Wage Rates,” adopted on June 20, 2017.

A copy of said Ordinance will be mailed to any employer, and to any other person or association of employees who have filed their names and addresses, requesting copies of any determination stating the particular class of workers whose wages will be affected by such rates.
