NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING A
CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Urbana, Illinois will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 7:30 P.M. in the Urbana City Council Chambers, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois, at which time and place the Board will consider the following case:
ZBA Case 2014-C-04: a request by Susan and Michelle Kozlowski for a Conditional Use Permit to allow a Daycare Facility within an existing house at 211 West High Street in the R-2, Single-Family Residential Zoning District.
This property is a single-family home. The applicants propose to operate a children’s daycare facility for no more than ten children at any given time. The Urbana Zoning Ordinance requires a Conditional Use Permit to allow Daycare Facility that serves more than five dependents in the R-2 district. The operators of the daycare would reside in the house.
The subject property is more particularly described as follows:
Lot 12 of James T. Roe’s Third Addition to the Town, now City of Urbana, as per plat recorded in Deed Record “D” at page 281, situated in Champaign County, Illinois.
