2011 Temporary Student Records

Champaign Unit #4 Schools will destroy the temporary records including Special Education records for all former students who either graduated or transferred out of the district on or before June 30, 2011. These records will be destroyed on or after July 1, 2017. Former students (guardian if under 18yrs) have the right to claim these records if they so choose.

If you (the former student 18yrs. or over ) are unable to claim your records in person, you may designate someone else to do so; however, your designee must bring a notarized letter from you containing his/her name along with providing written authorization for him/her to claim the records on your behalf. In addition, he/she must present photo identification at the time of pick-up.

Either you or your designee must pick up your records within 30 days before the scheduled Disposal date; otherwise, the records will be destroyed. There will be no exceptions. Records will be mailed out to those living outside the Champaign-Urbana area. To claim records, please contact the Records Department at 217-373-7351or studentrecords@u4sd.org to schedule a time to pick up your records.

Parkland College is seeking a market research/survey firm to conduct one or more community surveys to gather community perceptions and opinions on how well Parkland College is meeting the needs of its constituents and identify areas of strategic growth for the institution. The goals of this work are to 1) gather information on community perceptions of Parkland, 2) gather both qualitative and quantitative feedback from citizens on accessibility, affordability, and variety of Parkland programs and identify growth areas for the institution, and 3) gather feedback on current marketing campaigns and identify opportunities to refine marketing messages to better engage with the community and inspire potential students to enroll.

Proposals should include these program details:

  • Steps to be taken in the market research.

  • Description of the sampling and surveying methodology, including measures of reliability and validity.

  • Explanation of strategies to be employed to garner participation that matches the diversity of District #505.

  • Timeline for completion of the market research.

  • Detailed budget information. Only direct costs for services rendered are to be included in the proposal. Please do not include indirect costs in proposal.

  • Overview of the final deliverables to Parkland College and ability to present findings to Parkland leadership.

Proposals should also include the firm’s background, experience, and references relative to conducting such programs for community colleges.

Briefly describe the services the firm provides and how those services will benefit Parkland College.

List the higher education institutions for which the firm has provided market research and surveying services over the past five years.

The firm may include information relative to its familiarity regarding the challenges of community colleges and how that familiarity may be an advantage for this engagement.

Describe the firm’s procedures for monitoring client satisfaction.

Provide other information the firm believes to be pertinent to the RFP.
