NOTICE FOR BIDS

The Champaign Park District is requesting sealed bids for the KAUFMAN LAKE NORTH PAVING IMPROVEMENTS PHASE 2. Bid documents and technical specifications are available electronically between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. beginning Monday, April 21, 2014, at the following location: MSA Professional Services, 201 W. Springfield Ave., Suite 400, Champaign, Illinois 61820. Electronic bid documents and plans will be available at no cost. Hard copies will be provided upon request at a non-refundable charge of $100.00 per set.

Sealed bids are due to Kevin Crump, Director of Planning, Design & Construction, Champaign Park District, 706 Kenwood Road, Champaign, Illinois, 61821 by 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014, at which time said bids will be opened and publicly read aloud.

The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any or all irregularities and select the bid that is in the best interests of the Park District.

All bidders shall comply with the provisions of the Affirmative Action Ordinance of the Champaign Park District and must insure that any subcontractor used shall also comply therewith. Further, all bidders shall comply with all Federal, State, and local statutory requirements pertaining to prevailing wages, Illinois Fair Employment Act, equal opportunity regulations, and any other State or Federal aid regulations applicable to the contract.
