Invitation to Apply for the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool
Demolition of Various Bristol Place Properties, Champaign, Illinois
Contractor applications for the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool may be obtained at the Neighborhood Services Department, 102 N. Neil Street, Champaign, IL 61820. They can also be sent electronically by sending a request to Jean.Algee@ci.champaign.il.us.
Compliance with the City's Bristol Place Demolition Policy, Equal Opportunity in Purchasing Ordinance, and the Illinois Human Rights Act is required of the successful bidder. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon and Prevailing Wage Acts will be required.
Contractors desiring to bid on the next round of Bristol Place demolitions must submit their application for the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool to the City of Champaign, Neighborhood Services Department (102 North Neil Street, Champaign, IL 61820) no later than 4 p.m., August 14, 2015. All contractors that meet the requirements and are approved for the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool will be invited to bid on the upcoming Bristol Place demolitions. The City estimates three bid packages will be available to those approved in the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool on or about August 24, 2015. Bids will not be considered by any contractor not approved in the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool. Once the City notifies all approved contractors in the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool of the bids being available, the City of Champaign reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid or combination of a bid that may be deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Champaign. The criteria, which will be used to select the lowest responsible bidder, are set forth in Section 12.5-37 of the Champaign Municipal Code and the Contract Documents.

INVITATION TO BID
REPLACEMENT OF LIFT STATION PUMPS AND MACERATOR
DANVILLE PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING
DANVILLE PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION
Bids are invited for replacement of Lift station pumps and macerator for the Danville Public Safety Building, 2 E. South Street, Danville, IL.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at 9:00 A. M. at the Danville Public Safety Building, 2 E. South St., Danville, IL
Sealed bids will be received until 10:00 o’clock A.M. on Friday, August 07, 2015 at the office of the Danville Public Building Commission, Public Safety Building, 2 E. South Street, Danville, IL. Bids offered after this time will not be considered. Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud and shall be open to public inspection in the office of the Danville Public Building Commission for a period of at least forty-eight (48) hours before an award of the contract is made.
A single lump bid will be required for the work for the project.
Bid documents may be obtained at the office of the Danville Public Building Commission, 2 East South St., Danville, Illinois or via email by request to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Bid security will be required, submitted with the bid, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid in the form of a Bid Bond in the prescribed form executed by the bidder and with acceptable surety or sureties.
The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds.
Each bidder must insure that all employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, creed, color, sex or national origin.
Not less than the prevailing rate of wages as determined by the Danville Public Building Commission must be paid on this project.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the bidding, and to accept that proposal which the owner considers to be in its best interest.
The bid shall be withdrawn from a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Owner.
