Annual Budget

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested citizens that the City of Champaign will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Champaign City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois, for the purpose of reviewing the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Annual Budget, including the budget for the proposed Capital Improvements Program.

The public is encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. During the Public Hearing all interested citizens will be given an opportunity to provide written and oral comments regarding the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Annual Budget. Senior citizens are invited and encouraged to attend and comment. The City of Champaign strives to ensure that its programs, services and activities are accessible to individuals with disabilities. If you are an individual with a disability and require assistance to observe or participate, please contact the City of Champaign Finance Department at 403-8940 (or TDD #403-8736), at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled meeting date.

A copy of the City’s proposed Fiscal Year 2017/2018 Annual Budget is available for public inspection on weekdays between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., in the Finance Department located on the second floor of the Champaign City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois. A copy will also be available in the Champaign Public Library at the Reference Desk, and on the City’s website http://champaignil.gov/finance/budget. Questions regarding the proposed budget can be directed to the Finance Department (403-8940).

This Notice is given and the Public Hearing is being held pursuant to the laws of the State of Illinois.

The Village of Rantoul, Illinois is requesting prospective contractors to provide a proposal for cleaning service at several Village owned buildings in Rantoul, IL 61866

Proposals will be received until 3:00 P.M. prevailing time, Thursday, May 25, 2017, at the Village of Rantoul Municipal Building, 333 South Tanner Street, Rantoul, IL 61866. Proposals received after the closing time, at the discretion of the Village may be rejected and returned unopened. Proposals submitted should be identified on the outside of the envelope or package as a Proposal for “VRNTL-17-R-01 “BUILDING CLEANING SERVICE” and should be addressed to: The Village of Rantoul, Comptroller, Scot Brandon, 333 South Tanner Street, Rantoul, Illinois 61866.

Champaign County Regional Planning Commission is now accepting request for proposals, from Mechanical contractors for labor and materials. All bids must be submitted using the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission’s bid packet. Bid packets will be issued to any contractor/supplier who requests a packet in person at Champaign County Regional Planning Commission. Requests may also be made in writing and should be sent to Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, 1776 East Washington, Urbana, Illinois 61802. Bid packets will be made available starting, Monday, April 24, 2017. All requests for bid packets must be received in the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission’s office no later than Monday, May 1, 2017.

A bid information meeting for suppliers interested in submitting bids will be held at the offices of Champaign County Regional Planning Commission on Thursday, April, 27 2017 at 1:00 P.M. Participation in the meeting is mandatory for the bid to be considered.

All bid packets must be completed and returned to the Champaign County Regional Planning Commission’s office no later than 12:00 PM on Tuesday, May 9, 2017. A public bid opening will be held on Monday, May 9, 2017 and checked for completion at Champaign County Regional Planning Commission, 1776 East Washington, Urbana, Illinois 61802 at 1:00 P.M. Winning bidders will be announced at later time.

A general description of the bid includes: request for proposal to repair or replace furnaces, air conditioning systems, boilers, heat pumps, water heaters and their related parts and components.
