The Workforce Development Board of East Central Illinois, Workforce Investment Area 17, serving Champaign, Ford, Iroquois, Piatt Counties, has submitted a modification to its Five Year Local Job Training Plan under the Workforce Investment Act to the Bureau of Workforce Development of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
The purpose of this modification is to transfer current program year 2014 dislocated worker allocations in the amount of 2% into transitional funds in order to carry out activities and implement programs for the new Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). Current program funds available for PY 2014 are as follows:

Newcomb Township Cemetery is currently accepting sealed bids for the 2015 mowing season for the Shiloh Cemetery, 1/4 miles West of US Route 47 on 2650 North Road Mahomet and Naylor Cemetery on the Southwest corner of the intersection of Route 47 and US 136. Bid specifications can be obtained by contacting Joel Moore at (217) 202-6361. Bids will be opened at the March 9, 2015 regular meeting at the Newcomb Town-ship Hall. Bids must be received by March 9, 2015 on or before 7:00 pm. A list of equipment and a certificate of insurance must be included in bid packet.
