Notice is given of the death of William Levi Anderson on March 31, 2018. Letters of office as Independent Executor were issued on May 17, 2018, to Patricia Mast, 1515 Marigold, Champaign, IL 61821, whose attorney is Marc R. Miller, Miller & Hendren LLP, P.O. Box 980, Champaign, Illinois 61824-0980.

Claims against the Estate may be filed in the Office of the Circuit Clerk, Champaign County Courthouse, 101 E. Main Street, Urbana, Illinois 61801, or with the Executor, or both, on or before December 31, 2018. Any claim not filed on or before that date is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the Executor and his attorney within 10 days after it has been filed.

TAYLOR FIELD PARKING LOT PAVING PROJECT

The Village of Mahomet is accepting sealed proposals to perform the Taylor Field Parking Lot Paving Project. Sealed bids will be received at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, until 11:15 a.m. Monday July 2, 2018, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronically mailed bids will not be accepted.

This project consists of paving the existing aggregate parking area with three-inch (3”) PUG and striping of 43 parking spaces. The parking lot will consist of a total of 2,200 sq. yds, 350 tons of “modified mix” with 1,100 gal HFE-90 and 50 tons steel slag (FM 6) seal coat. Preparation of the area will be done by the Village and additional aggregate base material placing, grading and compacting is included in the project.

Project Completion date is September 21, 2018.

The Village of Mahomet is accepting sealed proposals to perform the 2018 PCC Pavement Patching Project. Sealed bids will be received at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, until 11:05 a.m. Monday July 2, 2018, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronically mailed bids will not be accepted.

This project consists of PCC patching at 2 general locations. The locations are the entrances to Sandy Ridge Subdivision on the north side of US 150 between Prairieview Road and IL 47.

Quantities for Class C Patches, 7”: Type II 10 sq yds, Type III 40 sq yds, and Type IV 913 sq yds. Striping of one bike path crosswalk is also included: Modified Urethane Pavement Marking: 12” 160 foot and 24” 22 foot.

Project Completion date is November 2, 2018.

2018 ADA SIDEWALK RAMP RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT

IL 47 & SOUTH MAHOMET RD

The Village of Mahomet is accepting sealed proposals to perform the 2018 ADA Sidewalk Ramp Reconstruction Project. Sealed bids will be received at the Village of Mahomet Administrative Office, until 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 2, 2018, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Electronically mailed bids will not be accepted.

This project consists of upgrading existing sidewalk ramps to ADA standards and providing ramps in places where the sidewalks stop short of the streets. 18 intersections are involved. They are all located in the old town area of Mahomet that is bounded by Division Street and Main Street and Lombard Street (IL 47) and Oak Street (US 150). There is a total of 63 ramps, 10 of which will only receive a detectable warning application. All others are reconstruction or new construction. In addition, there is a sidewalk gap at IL 47 and South Mahomet Road that will be filled. Quantities include: sidewalk removal 1,319 sq ft, PCC Sidewalk 6 inch 4,794 sq ft, 11 feet of Curb and Gutter, plus excavation, restoration, and detectable warnings. Modified Urethan Pavement Markings will be bid as an alternate.

Project Completion date is November 2, 2018.
