Property Exchange Opportunity

The University of Illinois Board of Trustees seeks specific proposals for the exchange of its property located at 403 E. Healey Street Champaign, Illinois (known as the Colonel Wolf School) for one or more properties of equal or greater value located within or adjacent to the UIUC campus master plan boundary or otherwise located to further the strategic mission of the UIUC campus.

The University of Illinois property at 403 E Healey Street Champaign, Illinois is legally described as Lots 3, 4, 5 and 6 in Jr Scotts Replat of Block 9 of J.S. Wrights Addition to the City of Champaign. The tax identification is 46-21-18-129-001. The property consists of 40, 356 sq. ft. zoned CG Commercial General by the City of Champaign permitting commercial and high density residential uses. The existing facility is a 2 story masonry building of 10,866 sq. ft. above grade designed as a public school and currently utilized for office space with 54 parking spaces. The land and improvements are valued at $2,100,000.

There is no deadline to make a proposal but the University will begin to assess opportunities on about November 20, 2017. The University reserves the right to negotiate terms and conditions of the exchange with proposers. The University reserves the right to reject all proposals.
