Notice is given of the death of MERVIN T. PARRETT. Letters of office as independent representatives were issued on November 19, 2014 to Pamela Ann Wood, 496 CR 2100 E, Sidney, IL 61877, Camella Sue Ryterski, 1900 W. Courtside Dr., Peoria, IL 61614, and Kevan Roy Parrett, 180 CR 2400 N, Mahomet, IL 61853, whose attorney is Thomas, Mamer & Haughey, LLP, 30 Main Street, P.O. Box 560, Champaign, Illinois, 61824-0560.
The estate will be administered without court supervision, unless under Section 28-4 of the Probate Act (755 ILCS 5/28-4) any interested person terminates independent administration at any time by mailing or delivering a petition to terminate to the Clerk.
Claims against the estate may be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, Champaign County Courthouse, Urbana, Illinois, or with the independent representatives, or both, on or before June 9, 2015, or if mailing or delivery of notice from the representative is required by Section 18-3 of the Probate Act of 1975, the date stated in that notice. Any claim not filed by that period is barred. Copies of a claim filed with the Clerk must be mailed or delivered to the independent representatives and to the attorney within 10 days after it has been filed.

Sealed bids for the demolition and site clearance of 1208, 1209, 1309,1311 N. Clock Street Champaign, Illinois will be received in the Office of the City Clerk of the City of Champaign at 102 N. Neil Street, Champaign, IL 61820 until 9:00 am prevailing time on January 15, 2015. Bids received by that time will be publicly opened and read aloud in the City Council Chambers, 102 N. Neil Street, Champaign, IL 61820 on January 15, 2015 at 9:30 am prevailing time. A pre-bid walk through will be held January 6, 2014 at 12:00 pm. Bidding is limited to pre-qualified contractors within the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool.
Contractor applications for the Bristol Place Demolition Contractor Pool, the specifications, instructions to bidders, contract document and bid forms may be obtained at the Neighborhood Services Department, 102 N. Neil Street., Champaign, IL 61820. They can also be found on the City of Champaign website at: http://ci.champaign.il.us/rfp/
Each bidder shall submit a bid bond secured by a cashier’s or certified check made payable to the City of Champaign or by an insurance company licensed to do business within the State of Illinois, or a letter of Credit in a form approved by the City Attorney, attached to the bid documents in an amount of at least ten-percent (10%) of the bid.
Compliance with the City’s Equal Opportunity in Purchasing Ordinance, Bristol Place Demolition Policy, and the Illinois Human Rights Act is required of the successful bidder. Compliance with the Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Act will be required.
The City of Champaign reserves the right to waive technicalities or to reject any and all bids or to accept any bid or combination of a bid that may be deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Champaign. The criteria, which will be used to select the lowest responsible bidder, are set forth in Section 12.5-37 of the Champaign Municipal Code and the Contract Documents.
