NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested persons that a public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois, on Wednesday, February 15, 2017, at 4:00 p.m. before the Plan Commission, concerning amendments to the Champaign Zoning Ordinance Sec. 37-61 Permitted Uses in the CG District, Sec. 37-62 Permitted Uses in the CB1, Sec. 37-63 Permitted Uses in the CB2 District and Sec. 37-64 Permitted Uses in the CB3 District. The purpose of this text amendment is to allow Daycares as a permitted use in these zoning districts.
This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of Section 37-758 of the Champaign Municipal Code, 1985, as amended.
In said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present their arguments for or against passage of an Ordinance enacting the aforesaid action.

The Workforce Development Board of East Central Illinois, Workforce Innovation Area 17, serving Champaign, Ford, Iroquois, Piatt Counties, will submit a modification to its Four Year Local Job Training Plan under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to the Bureau of Workforce Development of the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity.
