NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Plan Commission of the City of Urbana, Illinois. will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 7:00 P.M. in the Urbana City Council Chambers, 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois, at which time and place the Commission will consider the following:

Plan Case 2339-T-18: An application by the Urbana Zoning Administrator to amend the Urbana Zoning Ordinance to combine the Mixed-Office-Residential (MOR) Development Review Board and the Design Review Board.

The Urbana Zoning Administrator is proposing to amend Article XI (Administration) of the Zoning Ordinance to combine the review boards and to make any other changes, including to other Articles, that are deemed necessary to provide clarity and ease of administration.

Senior Minor Home Repair Program

Management Services

The City of Champaign is soliciting proposals for management services for the Senior Minor Home Repair Program. The program provides minor home repair assistance to seniors and persons with disabilities who own and occupy homes within the City of Champaign corporate limits. The minor home repair program shall provide repairs to prevent serious structural problems, remediate obstacles to independent living and ensure the health and safety of the homes’ occupants. Repair professionals will complete the minor repairs. The selected agency will meet the criteria as listed in the Specifications, Section 2: Specifications of the RFP.

Proposals will be received in the Neighborhood Services Department of the City of Champaign at 102 N. Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois 61820, until 4:00 p.m. (CST) on March 23, 2018. Electronic submission of proposal are made online through Vendor Self Service.

Compliance with the City’s Affirmative Action Ordinance and the Illinois Human Rights Act is required of the selected agency.

Notice is hereby given that the Danville Public Building Commission will receive sealed bids for Asbestos Abatement for 2018 Boiler Room Renovations at Danville Public Safety Building, 2 East South Street in Danville, Illinois 61832.

The work is to remove asbestos-containing insulation from storage tanks and boiler door gaskets from the boiler room and to remove asbestos-containing insulation from abandoned emergency generator exhaust in the boiler room and sally port.

The date of commencement is tentatively April 16, 2018, with the tentative date of substantial completion being April 27, 2018.

The Mandatory Prebid Meeting is on Monday, March 5, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Danville Public Building Commission.
