COMBINED ANNUAL BUDGET AND APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE IN AND FOR THE CHERRY HILLS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT IN THE COUNTY OF CHAMPAIGN AND STATE OF ILLINOIS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING May 3, 2018, THROUGH May 2, 2019, BOTH INCLUSIVE

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CHERRY HILLS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT:

SECTION 1: That this bill be and the same is hereby termed "Combined Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance in and for the Cherry Hills Fire Protection District in the County of Champaign and State of Illinois for the fiscal year beginning May 3, 2018 through May 2, 2019 both inclusive."

SECTION 2: That the following budget containing an estimate of revenues and expenditures be and the same is hereby adopted as the Budget and Appropriation Ordinance for the Cherry Hills Fire Protection District for the fiscal year beginning May 3, 2018 through May 2, 2019 inclusive.

ESTIMATED EXPENDITURES

For normal corporate purposes:

City of Champaign Fire Service Contract $31,200

Miscellaneous Administrative and Operating Expenses $1,215

Total of budgeted items for Normal corporate purposes $32,415

ESTIMATE OF AVAILABLE FUNDS

Cash on hand May 3 ,2018 for normal corporate purposes $28,495

Estimate of cash to be received from taxation $31,500

Total cash on hand and amount expected to be received $59,995

RECAPITULATION

Total cash on hand and amount expected to be received $59,995

Appropriation for all purposes listed above $32,415

Estimated cash expected to be on hand at end of fiscal year $27,580

SECTION 3: That warrants against and in anticipation of the above amounts for the payment of the ordinary and necessary expenses of said District are hereby authorized to be drawn by the President and Secretary of the Board of Trustees of said Fire Protection District in the amount appropriated herein, in accordance with the statutes in such cases made and provided.

SECTION 4: All unexpended balance of any items or items of any general appropriation made by this Ordinance may be expended in making up any insufficiencies in any items or items in the same general appropriation made by this Ordinance.

SECTION 5: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, adoption and approval in accordance with the law.

ORDINANCE FOR THE LEVY OF TAXES FOR THE FISCAL YEAR May 3, 2018 THROUGH May 2, 2019, INCLUSIVE, OF THE CHERRY HILLS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF CHERRY HILLS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT:

SECTION 1: That the following sums for the normal corporate objects and purposes hereinafter set forth and aggregating Thirty One Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($31,500) be and the same are hereby assessed and levied for the normal corporate objects and purposes of the Cherry Hills Fire Protection District in Champaign County, Illinois, as hereinafter specified for the fiscal year commencing May 3, 2018 through May 2, 2019 both inclusive, upon all the real and personal property within the boundaries of the Cherry Hills Fire Protection District in Champaign County, Illinois subject to taxation, and the objects and purposes for which said tax is levied and the amount levied for each object and purpose are as follows:

For normal corporate purposes:

City of Champaign Fire Service Contract $31,200

Miscellaneous Administrative and Operating

Expenses $1,215

Total of budgeted items for Normal corporate

purposes $32,415

Less reserve tax funds $915

Total Tax Levy $31,500

SECTION 2: The Secretary of the District and of its Board of Trustees is hereby directed and commanded to certify and file with the County Clerk of Champaign County, Illinois, within the time provided by the law, a true, literal and correct copy of this Ordinance duly certified by said Secretary.

SECTION 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.
