NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING REGARDING A

PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO AN ANNEXATION AGREEMENT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested persons that the Corporate Authorities of the City of Urbana, Illinois, will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2017, in the City Council Chambers of the Urbana City Building, located at 400 S. Vine Street, Urbana, Illinois, to consider an amendment to an annexation agreement between the City of Urbana and Wendl, Inc. This annexation agreement was approved on March 24, 2005, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2005-03-036, for tracts of land totaling approximately 20.76 acres and generally located in Cunningham Township at 1901 S. High Cross Road. The tracts are legally described as follows:

Lot 101 of the Replat of Lot 1 of Emergo First Subdivision, as per plat recorded March 24, 2016 as Document Number 2016R04797, situated in Champaign County, Illinois. Permanent Index No.: 93-21-22-280-003 ; approximately 2.89 acres

Lot 102 of the Replat of Lot 1 of Emergo First Subdivision, as per plat recorded March 24, 2016 as Document Number 2016R04797, situated in Champaign County, Illinois. Permanent Index No.: 93-21-22-280-004; approximately 17.27 acres

Lot 103 of the Replat of Lot 1 of Emergo First Subdivision, as per plat recorded March 24, 2016 as Document Number 2016R04797, situated in Champaign County, Illinois. Permanent Index No.: 93-21-22-280-002; approximately 0.60 acres

The proposed annexation agreement amendment will contain additional terms that govern the use and general development of the tracts, and the following successors in interest to Wendl, Inc. will be made parties thereto: Riggs Land Holdings, LLC, and Charles Wendling.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the proposed annexation agreement amendment may be changed, altered, modified, amended or redrafted in its entirety after the public hearing. All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard.
