Two sets of Contract Documents may be obtained at the office of WALTON AND ASSOCIATES ARCHITECTS, P.C. by depositing a check in the amount of $50.00 per set, payable to the Architect. All unsuccessful bonafide bidders who actually submit a bid, and return all bid documents in good condition to the Architect, will have their deposit returned after the bids are received.

Plan Deposit Cards presented by members of the Central Illinois Builders (CIB) Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, in accordance with the CIB's Non-Cash Security Program for the "Return of Plans and Spec" may be substituted by member bidders in lieu of cash or check plan deposits. BID STIPULATIONS

All Bidders are to be pre-qualified with the Capital Development Board of the State of Illinois. Evidence of pre­qualification may be requested.

Bid Security is required in the amount of ten (10) percent of Proposal.

All contractors and subcontractors are required to pay prevailing wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor.

The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for the full amount of the bid accepted.

Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities in bidding, and to award a Contract for any part of the Work or the Project as a whole.

Contractors are invited to submit an offer for East Wing First Floor Ceiling Replacement. Offers will be received at the Rantoul Township High School Office located at the north entry before 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on March 7, 2017. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time.

The project consists of: Installation of suspended acoustical ceiling tiles system. Ceiling installation will include removal and reinstallation on acoustic ceiling tile, removal and re-installation of existing lighting fixtures, installation of new fixture, and other associated electrical items.

A single stipulated sum bid will be received for all Work. Base bid will include all work associated with the ceiling replacement. Alternate bids will be taken for new light fixtures in classrooms.

The successful bidder must agree to conform to the current rules and regulations of the Fair Employment Practices Commission.

Contractor shall not pay less than the prevailing rates of wages as determined by the Illinois Department of Labor to all laborers, workers and mechanics performing work under this contract, and shall comply with the requirements of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (820 ILCS 130/1-12).

Sealed proposals for the

Sealed proposals for the furnishing or delivering & installing materials required in the construction/maintenance of Section 17-00000-00-GM will be received and at that time publicly opened and read at the office of Village Clerk, 503 E. Main Street, Mahomet, IL 61853 until 11:00 a.m. on March 6, 2017.

The Awarding Authority reserves the right to waive technicalities and to reject any or all proposals as provided in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Material Proposals.

A proposal guaranty in the proper amount, as specified in BLRS Special Provision for Bidding Requirements and Conditions for Material Proposals, will be required. Bid bonds will not be allowed as proposal guaranties.

The successful bidder at the time of execution of the contract will be required to deposit a contract bond for the full amount of the award.
