NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is given that a meeting of the Board of Trustees of ROLLING ACRES FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT will be held at the Curtis Road Church of God at 2604 Curtis Rd., Champaign, Illinois at 6:30 P.M. (C.D.T.) on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. The regular business meeting of the Board will be held at said time and the Trustees will consider passage of the proposed Annual Budget and Appropriation Ordinance (Ordinance No. 97) of the Rolling Acres Fire Protection District, said proposed Budget and Appropriation Ordinance being for the fiscal year of the District beginning May 1, 2015. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHAMPAIGN, ILLINOIS REGARDING THE PROPOSED USE OF FUNDS PURSUANT TO EDWARD BYRNE MEMORIAL JUSTICE ASSISTANCE GRANT.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested persons, that a public hearing will be held in the Council Chambers of the City Building, 102 North Neil Street, Champaign, Illinois, on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. by the Champaign City Council regarding the proposed use of grant funds pursuant to Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant.

This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of the Omnibus FY 2000 Appropriations Act, (Public Law 105-277).

At said public hearing, all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard and to present written or oral views on the proposed uses of the grant funds.

It is proposed that the grant funds be used for the purchase of equipment utilized in the provision of police services.
