CITY OF TUSCOLA REQUEST FOR

REDEVELOPMENT PROPOSALS

The City of Tuscola is requesting proposals for the sale and development of City owned property located in an established residential area of the community. The City acquired the former North Ward Elementary School, has cleared the site and now desires to have the site redeveloped. The property encompasses approximately 3.6 acres. The City is seeking proposals from interested developers to redevelop this site into market rate housing. The area is included in a Tax increment Financing (TIF) District, which has a term set to expire in 2021.

Proposals submitted must be received in the office of the City Clerk, Tuscola City Hall, 214 N. Main Street, Tuscola, IL 61953, not later than 4:00PM CST on September 30, 2014. The RFP Guidelines and Submittal Requirements containing pertinent information for developers will be available at the Tuscola City Hall beginning on August 25, 2014. Interested parties may contact Drew Hoel, City Administrator, at 217-253-2112, for further information regarding this request.

Solava in the Circuit Court of Champaign County entitled 'In the Interest of Dylen Boley and that in Courtroom “E”, at 101 E. Main Street, Urbana, IL on September 08, 2014 at the hour of 10:00 AM or as soon thereafter as this cause may be heard, an adjudicatory hearing will be held upon the petition to have the child(ren) declared to be a ward(s) of the Court under that Act. The Court has authority in this proceeding to take from you the custody and guardianship of the minor(s), to terminate your parental rights, and to appoint a guardian with power to consent to adoption. You may lose all parental rights to your child(ren).
