Champaign, IL 61820

Dorothy A. David, City Manager

TO ALL INTERESTED AGENCIES, GROUPS, AND PERSONS:

This project is a RAD Transfer of Assistance from the Skelton Place Public Housing Community and will consist of a three-story elevator building with 96 affordable units for seniors and two single story buildings with 24 supportive housing units for non-seniors.

The subject property is vacant land located at Interstate Drive and Toalson Lane. The property is a rectangular parcel of approximately 13.8 acres bound by Interstate Drive to the north, Walmart to the west, Menards to the south, and a residential subdivision to the east.

An Environmental Review Record regarding the stated project made by the above-named City of Champaign documents the environmental review and more fully sets forth the reasons why such statement is not required. This Environmental Review Record is on file at the at the City of Champaign?s Neighborhood Services Department (102 North Neil Street, Champaign) and is available for public examination and copying, upon request, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
