Red Mask Players looking for directors
DANVILLE – The Red Mask Players, a Danville community theater group, is looking for directors for its 2008-09 season.
Applications, including additional details on director responsibilities, are available at www.redmaskplayers.com.
The season consists of "On Golden Pond" by Ernest Thompson, with performances set for Nov. 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16, 21 and 22; "Moon Over Buffalo" by Ken Ludwig, with performances set for Jan. 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30 and 31, 2009; and "Over the River and Through the Woods" by Joe DiPietro with performances on March 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29, and April 3 and 4, 2009.
All shows rehearse for about eight weeks. Copies of scripts are available at the Danville Public Library for in-library reading only.
Applications must be postmarked by July 7. Upon receipt of applications, prospective directors will be interviewed by the Red Mask Board.
