Quinn's Chief of Staff

So ... I'm having a hard time buying that Quinn's chief of staff resigned over nothing more than three bad e-mails and a nasty report from an in-house watchdog the governor already had dumped. Anyone else think there is more here than meets the eye.? And if the watchdog wasn't fired for upbraiding the chief of staff, then what was he fired for -- so close to the end of Quinn's term? Am I missing something here?

Here is a clue Illinois

Here is a clue Illinois politics: the final question on the ethics form for a Governor appointment in Illinois under Blago: Is there anything about you that if it became public would embarrass the Governor? That criteria surely is the same under Quinn. Thou shall not make the Governor look bad, especially if you are the head of ethics. I think it is hilarious. How can you embarrass someone who is shameless?

Anyone else think there is

Anyone else think there is more here than meets the eye.? Of course someone thinks this

And if the watchdog wasn't fired for upbraiding the chief of staff, then what was he fired for -- so close to the end of Quinn's term? Most likely had agreed to leave at this time

Am I missing something here? There does not seem to be anything to miss
