They're getting pretty heated over in the story comments about this business of the Champaign library charging users from Mahomet, Savoy and Tolono. But I have what I hope is a simple question. What is the purpose of the Lincoln Trail Library System? Can Rantoul residents use the Champaign Library or people from Champaign use the one in Urbana?

Of course it's their call in the end and perhaps they want to limit out-of-towner's use entirely.
